What We Collect

The Spoon's website is mostly a menu, hours, and a place to hear about events. We collect information in two situations:

  • When you buy tickets to an event, we collect your name, email address, and the ticket details, and pass your payment directly to PayPal to process. We never see or store your card number.
  • Basic, anonymous site-traffic stats (pages visited, general location, device type) through our analytics provider, Ahrefs. This doesn't identify you personally.

How We Use It

  • Ticket order info (name, email, order details) is used only to confirm your order and get you into the event. We don't add you to a mailing list or share it with anyone besides PayPal, who processes the payment.
  • Site traffic stats help us understand which pages people actually use, so we know what's worth keeping on the site.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your information to anyone.
  • We don't send marketing emails.
  • We don't share your contact info with third parties, other than PayPal for the purpose of processing your payment.

Payment Processing

Ticket payments are handled entirely by PayPal. The Spoon's website never sees or stores your card, bank, or PayPal account details. PayPal's own privacy policy governs how they handle that information.

Data Storage

Ticket order records are kept in our database so we can look up an order if there's ever a question about it. If you'd like your order information removed after an event has passed, just ask.

Questions or Requests

If you have a question about your information, or want something deleted, reach out to us and we'll take care of it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
